Do you want to join us in making a difference? we are raising money in aid of LINCS DOBERMANN RESCUE and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us37698762_1552403621183323_r.jpegSaxon is 8 years old and arrived in our care a few weeks ago. 3 of our supporters saw his plight and between us all organised his rescue from an unknown future after being advertised for sale. On arrival it became obvious that this poor boy was basically being sold cheaply to "get rid". He had a comfortable sleep the first night with his new foster family, who had driven over 400 miles to get him safe by the way. On his first full day the struggles he had with his hind legs/hips could be seen in greater detail. His foster family got him to the vets and Saxon had a full check up, coming away with medication, pain relief and the need to see a neurologist. The full diagnosis will require an MRI scan and this is really where Saxon and us need your help. The scan will cost the rescue between £1500 and £2000. This boy has the sweetest nature and enjoys playing with a ball and his new dobie sister. He loves life and we really need to get him the best possible outcome we can to help continue his life pain free and happy in his new home. Yes, you guessed it... they were quickly mesmerised with Saxon and now have become his permanent foster family for us.

Hello you lovely people.

Well Saxon is back home from the vets and feeling very sorry himself.

He has had his MRI scan and blood tests. He has 2 separate compressions of discs in his neck. He has been put onto steroids to see if they make a difference. His blood work was PERFECT woo hoo. He is now sitting at 43.4kg rather than 47kg, which is good as its less pressure on his joints. Vets were excellent and he soon had a crowd of woman around him the moment we got there.

Thank you so much to all who have donated and continue to do so. For purely selfish reasons please keep donating. I just love having this man in my life. I endeavour to meet lots of you throughout the year as we arrange meet and greets etc.

Saxon picked out a new squeaky toy at the vets and is now sat sulking with his squeaky .

Love to all Saxon and Claire (his maid!!)❤❤❤

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
