Saving Memphis from Slaughter

Donation protected
Memphis is a  chestnut mare who came from a feedlot farm over in Oregon. I didn't know what a feeding farm was prior to her. It's where they fatten these horses up and prepare them for slaughter. In foreign countries they use horse for hamburger and sell them per pound.

Here is our plan for Memphis.

To rehabilitate her & find her a loving home. She has scars up & down her chest, her tail is in a rats nest and she is emotionally scared from her living condition.

When Chrissie was just 8 years old she started riding horses for therapeutic reasons to help with her anxiety resulting from her autism. Since her progress she continues to help those with special needs. It has been her life long dream to own her own horse one day. Together with Mone Farms Euquine Rescue we will rescue Memphis.  Chrissie  is being given a free mentorship program to work side by side with Danielle, super hero horse trainer & rescuer, to learn how to rehabilite these animals that helped save her life.  We want to start the new family off right with stabling and feed for her. She is also going to need lots of proper care.

We are a non-profit organization (501C3) so your donation will be treated as such.
