Saving Parker from Parvo

I don’t have much to say and I don’t really have much time. Parker is my Chocolate Lab puppy. She’s 3 months old and she has contracted Parvo. 2 weeks ago I took her to see the vet to get all of her shots and to address a sore she had on her tongue.  The vet gave her antibiotics for her tongue and suggested that I not get her shots right then because it might be hard on her weakened immune system. Yesterday she started throwing up. This morning there was blood in her vomit. I rushed her to the vet and after a few tests, they confirmed it was Parvo. The best chance she has to survive is to stay in over the weekend to be monitored and carefully treated. The cost of this treatment is $1,400. I’ll be traveling the next two days to work and make as much as I can. Asking for help isn’t easy. But I don’t want to lose my friend. She’s fighting hard but she needs this treatment for a chance to pull through. If you’ve met her you know how amazing she is. And how much better our lives are with her in here.
