Saving Hope, a needy dogs story...
Tax deductible
Meet Hope, a dog that needs your help. This very sweet young female mixed breed was brought in to GPAAS by the Harper Woods Police Department after a resident found her laying on a rug in a parking lot just before Christmas. We initially thought was hit by a car but Xrays revealed Hopes leg to be shattered by a bullet. The veterinary team at Harper Woods Veterniary Hospital kept Hope comfortable with pain medication and antibiotics over Christmas. Today, 12/26/18, we were forced to make a decision to euthanize or amputate since the leg is not viable. Hope is deteriorating and deserves a chance, even on three legs. She will undergo surgery tomorrow, 12/27/18, by Dr. Balaj at Harper Woods Veterniary Hospital to save her life. Please help us to raise $1000 for all her care.
