Saving Diana

Hello everyone. This gofundme page was set up by Diana Salazar-Lopez's family. 

El 30 de Abril, Diana fue diagnosticada con una enfermedad no muy comun llamada HLH Linfohistiocitosis hemofagocitica, todo empezo hace 2 meses cuando Diana no se sintio bien, y fue hospitalizada despues de barios examenes, doctores, y hospitales, le diagnosticaron con esta enfermedad que es muy agresiva, y puede ser fatal,  lo cual en el momento ella esta muy grave y necesita tratamiento muy largo y muy costoso. Y por eso empezamos con esta pagina para que amigos, familia y todos los que puedan por favor nos unamonos a ayudar a su familia en este momento tan dificil. Con una donacion de lo que ustedes puedan sera una gran ayuda, y todo sera agradecido de corazan. Bendiciones para todos los que nos puedan apoyar.

Diana was recently diagnosed with HLH a rare life threatening illness.

We, her family, are setting up this page in the hopes to raise money to offset the major medical expenses this long and arduous road to recovery will cost.  

Diana, 16, was like your everyday fun loving, free spirited teenager up until 2 months ago when she began feeling ill. After many doctors visits and many incorrect diagnosis, her health continued to decline with no hope of recovery or answers in sight. Her mother, our aunt, went on a desperate search for answers from doctor to doctor first in Midland then Mexico to Odessa to Lubbock and now Dallas, Diana's health deteriorating faster and faster with each day that passed, to the point she is no longer able to get out of bed and is the shadow of her former joyous self.

Yesterday, 4/30, she was finally diagnosed with HLH , it is rare and is life threatening causing her immune system to attack her body causing hyper inflammation all over and attacking her all her organs. Today she is in critical condition, we are hanging on to hope that  it was caught in time and she will pull through. This will be a long road to recovery once she is stabilized.  She has no health insurance and her mother had to stop working to tend to her care.

We are reaching out to ask for any and all help. Anything is appreciated. 100% of the earnings will go to helping Diana and her mother with care.  Thank you so much for anything you are able to do.
