Emergency Appeal for At-Risk Youth

Tax deductible
After ten years of providing successful workforce services, LAYC’s Maryland division, the Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers (MMYC), lost federal funding for its free GED and job training programs for low-income youth in Montgomery County.

To continue offering life-changing opportunities to some 350 of the most vulnerable youth in the county, we must urgently raise $50,000 by the end of the summer.

With your help, these youth will also receive mentoring, counseling, leadership skills development, career exploration, and gang prevention services.

Our goal is to foster a successful transition to young adulthood through an engaging, innovative, and bilingual environment.
