Help Save Icehouse the Pup

Icehouse is a happy little rescue dog with a playful spirit, a weird name, and a bottomless capacity for love. A fixture at many DIY, queer, and punk community spaces, Icehouse is loved by many, and has been my best friend since I first met him three years ago.
A few days ago he stopped acting like his energetic self. He seemed depressed, he stopped eating, he hardly moved at all.
Yesterday he was diagnosed with Leptospirosis after my roommate and I spent 8 hours at the emergency vet with him.
Leptospirosis is a rare bacterial infection that causes kidney and liver failure. Ever the rat terrier, Icehouse was most likely infected from exposure to the urine of a contaminated rodent. Icehouse is experiencing dehydration, jaundice, nausea, lethargy, compulsive shaking, and is very much at risk of losing his life without proper, immediate treatment.
Fortunately, Icehouse is a fighter. As a puppy he survived being homeless living with an abusive owner. He survived parvo. There's a very strong possibility he can survive this too, but he will need community support to do so.
Due to the nature of the disease, and because humans and other fuzzy critters can become contaminated from contact with him, he cannot be treated at home and will require vigilant veterinarian supervision. We've been able to afford to keep him hospitalized for the next 24 hours, but the veterinarian says he very realistically might need to stay there for upwards to a week if he is going to have a shot at survival. The costs are increasing, and the required deposit to keep him at the vet for a needed additional 72 hours is $4566, and the vet warns it could keep ballooning past that. This is well beyond the means of my roommates and I, who are often struggling to even pay rent, even though we love him desperately and would do anything we can to keep him alive. So we're turning to you, our friends and community members, for help.
Please give what you can so that this young pup, who's given so much love and joy to so many people, can continue living his happy, playful, loving little life. Thank you everyone. We love and appreciate all of you!
