HELP little Emma Walker

Donation protected

"This precious little baby girl is Emma Lynn Walker. She was born September 10th. I had an emergency c section and she was born 15 weeks, almost 4 months, premature. My mom was with me, but my husband is stationed on the other side of the country so he missed her birth. Right now she is being treated for Chronic lung disease, MRSA staph infection, meningitis, pneumonia and a collapsed lung. She also had a bleed in her brain shortly after birth and an issue with her heart causing blood pressure problems and kidney failure. Financially, since I'm at the hospital with Emma during the day while my son is in school and I have him after school, I can't work and we only have Tommy's income. Medical bills are starting to pile up very quickly. And Tommy has already had to fly back twice in the 6 weeks since Emma was born because she was so sick they thought she wasn't going to make it. Which is about $400 round trip each time.
Tommy and I have been together for almost 5 years and married for almost 3. Emma is our first child together. We found out we were pregnant with her a couple days before he left for basic training. Everything so far has been strangely timed, but she's beautiful! She was 530 grams or 1.1 pounds at birth. She lost weight when she was sick in the very beginning and dropped down to 470 grams or 1 pound. Now she's almost 2 pounds, about 880 grams. "

Amanda and Tommy are a wonderful, young, and honest couple that only want to do good, be good to eachother, and save their baby girl. It's times like this when we should do all we can to help our fellow brothers and sisters as they make their private issues public, asking in all humility for help from anyone that is willing. I have known Tommy for many years, and he has joined me in the ranks of active duty military service to do all he can to help defend our freedoms. My wife and I could not stand by and watch this happen without doing something. I do not know their pain. But I can feel a glimpse of it in Amanda's words about her little girl,
" Only thing we need right now is a miracle, she's really sick."
