Pups with Parvo Saved from Shelter
A County animal shelter asked us to save these 4 puppies with parvo, we immediately responded and got them from the shelter to the vet where they are hospitalized and being treated. Parvo is a serious virus that is often fatal for puppies. One of the pups seems to be worse than the others, we are hopeful that all will pull through. Thank you for your support and for helping us save these puppies!+ Read More
We have some very sad news to share - little Otter didn't make it. While her siblings recovered well from parvo and are doing great, Otter was suffering from a much more severe medical condition that was not treatable. Saddened by the loss of this beautiful puppy, but grateful that the others are well . Thanks to everyone for the support received thus far and hopefully we can raise some more funding to pay off these huge hospital bills.
Three of the puppies were released from the hospital after a few days of treatment and they are doing well. The sickest puppy (Otter) had to stay at the hospital longer but when she seemed to be doing better we moved her to a foster home. She quickly declined at the foster home and started having seizures. We rushed her to an emergency critical care hospital where she is currently receiving around the clock care. She is in critical condition but the doctors are doing everything possible to diagnose and treat her - they don't think this is just a parvo situation. We are hopeful that little Otter will survive...
