HELP SAVE CHIHIRO

Donation protected

Our sweet baby girl Chihiro was hit by a runaway driver; one who did not have the decency to stop or help her. Their skid marks smeared across the road are the only trace left. Filled with adrenaline she limped to our house. My brother Brandon and my fiance Tyler saw her and rushed to help her. With nothing but a pair of shorts on; no shirt, socks or shoes, Tyler scooped her up in his arms and rushed her to the vet. Blood stains cover our backseat. Devasted he called me at work begging me to come to the clinic. It didn't hit me how serious it was until I heard him say it was bad and her leg was going to have to go and he wasn't sure about it. My heart stopped and I regretted not taking her for a morning walk. All the ways I hadn't been a good dog mom to her ran through my head. I yelled at her too much, I didn't pay enough attention to her, I didn't walk her everyday, I didn't play with her enough and more. With that I burst into tears at work. My co workers were so unbelievable kind and understanding. They ensured I could leave work early and go take care of my baby.
I parked at the clinic, scared to go inside. I saw Tyler and pushed the tears back. I had to be strong. Walking into the clinic I was ushered to the back. I steeled myself. I saw her and her tail wagged.
"Hi baby! Mama's here." That tail wagging more. I saw past her face and I tried to keep my straight. Her back half was road burned away and her leg.....her leg was stripped to almost nothing! Her bone fractured with pieces missing and ligaments gone. So red and sereal.
"Chi-Chi" She wagged her tail and tried to give me a hi five. And that broke my heart. She knew I was devasted and still wanted to make me happy.
Chihiro is part of my family. I love her so much and she is so incredibly intelligent. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, shut the door, shake, hi-five and we are getting the army crawl down.
Her medicial bills are adding up. I'm happy to provide all the documented bills showing where the money will be going. The initial emergency visit was $500. Her surgery and follow up care is expected to be $550+.
She will be having her one of her back legs amputated. She will have to adjust to being on 3 legs eventually. We'll have to relearn some things but I'm willing to put in the time and patience.
Please help our fur baby!
Anything would be so graciously appreciated!!
