SAVE WOLVERINES LEG

If you've ever met my dog Wolverine, you know he's a loveable beast who enjoys: making friends with anyone and everyone he meets, playing fetch, and taking long walks on the beach. About a month ago when playing fetch one spring evening, he twisted his leg and immediately stopped putting any weight on his leg. My wife & I took him to the vet to confirm what we already feared: he had torn his Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) which is the dog equivalent of a human tearing their ACL.  There are several treatment options for a CCL injury, all of which are successful, but expensive. Wolverine will be having Tibial Tubercle Advancement surgery on his leg this week to reinforce the knee and help him regain full use of his leg. The surgery will cost about $4,000. For about 6 months my wife has not worked due to our recent move across the country for my job. She started working about the same time Wolverine was injured, so with the various vet appointments and surgeon consultations she's had to miss several days of work and we're still trying to catch up. We've been working with a very tight budget for our regular monthly expenses and obviously this surgery was not in the budget and we haven't had time to save up what the cost of the surgery will be. Anything anyone can do to help is great and would really be appreciated. It doen't have to be much, anything can help.  Even if you can't give money, some prayers would be appreciated as well - Wolverine is our oldest dog and is a big part of our family (my wife says he's our first baby - ha).
