After suffering from the devastating effects of flood in 2017, the Trailhead has had to struggle to stay afloat financially.
Even in the midst of their difficult times, Matt and Angel Hochman have continued to provide for their community, offering open tabs for government employees who were furloughed during the federal government shutdown and providing a support system for local residents.
After paying one month's rent late, the Trailhead was served an eviction notice by their landlord.
The Trailhead has served as a corner-stone for the community of Bar Harbor and ultimately we would like to keep this business open. Whether this is possible or not only time will tell. While Matt & Angel navigate this process, debts continue to accumulate & bills still need to be paid.
Your donation, no matter the size, will go a long way to making sure they have the financial support they need to navigate this process & review all of the options available to them. Even if they're not able to save the business, they'll still have a very sizable debt to overcome. Let's come together to show them the same support that they have continually showed our community.
