The Cave is a 'Not for Profit' run organisation that has become a spiritual hub offering expertise, support and counseling as well as education and self-development.

Our mission is to help people. 

We have put everything into our work with the community and into The Cave as a hub, every penny and every hour, with an absolute passion to create something that gives the community hope, light and peace.

Through this The Cave has become much more than a shop on the High Street over our many years trading. It has become a national favourite for bespoke quality products and services, with people choosing to visit us from far and wide.

With our key value always about giving, The Cave have never done anything like this before. But now we truly need your help!



Our passionate small team have been forced during the past year to announce our closure from the Shrewsbury town centre.

With business rates rising, increased parking charges, extensive road closures, further planned developments to the town centre by the council causing yet further disruption to trade, bad town centre management during bad weather, and extreme price rises in raw materials due to Brexit, all have served us with the worst year ever and have left each and every member of this team without any further personal revenue to put back and continue our good work.

This affects many businesses, obviously we know, but after the support given recently we have listened to our community and we are passionate about saving The Cave as the town centre hub in Shrewsbury. 

In December 2017 the public spoke out. Thousands rallied to support The Cave staying in Shrewsbury town centre, and we are now prepared to fight on - with your help!

You can help us in two ways:

You can donate whatever you wish here, and we will be eternally greatful for your support . The more money we raise, the more we can manoeuvre and deal with the increasing cost of staying in Shrewsbury.

Full details of our money goals are below, but it we desperately need to raise £8,000 as soon as possible, and we have calculated that we will need upwards of £31,000 to put in place the best possible solution for staying within Shrewsbury town centre. 

In return we want to try and at least give something back to you, and so certain amounts donated will grant certain rewards, also detailed below.

The Cave has a great future planned ahead to help many people, but public outcry has illustrated to us just how important our town centre hub is and how its enriches lives. 

We must fight to stay open in this changing world, and every little helps to secure our future work with the community. Don't lose this valuable asset from the town centre.
