Save Taylor from becoming homeless

My name is Taylor and I’m raising money in a desperate attempt to avoid becoming homeless. I lost my job in January, and five days after that my mother passed away after battling multiple chronic illnesses for many years. I was her sole caretaker for a majority of those years and losing her was a terrible blow that I am not going to heal from for a long time. I spent months searching and interviewing for jobs, with nothing panning out. I tried numerous times to get government financial assistance and got denied because they kept losing my paperwork and claimed I never sent it in. I have also reached out to charities throughout my county for help paying my back rent and been denied every time. I’ve been denied for owing too much in back rent and not living within the city limits. The good news is that I finally have a job! I start on Monday 5/20. Unfortunately, because it took me so long to find this job, I am facing eviction.

I owe back rent for April and May. This amounts to $1,595. Because my apartment complex is taking me to court for this amount, I will also owe another $350 in their attorney fees. That brings my total amount due to $1,945. The rest of what I’m asking for is to insure I have enough money to pay my rent again come June 1, as my first paycheck will not cover it. I am supposed to be appearing at court with my apartment complex on Tuesday, May 21 at 8:30 am. This is also when I am scheduled to be at work. I cannot call in during training, or I will be terminated immediately. If I miss the court date, I will immediately be served an eviction notice. I have no family I can stay with and no money to move. At this point I can only hope and pray that anyone reading this is willing and able to donate and help me.
