Save Sawdust Days Free Festival

For 45 years volunteers have provided a Free Sawdust Days Festival.  No one has been paid.  Now the city has decided to charge us $50,000 for Police Coverage, $6,840 for using the park, $1,300 for an ambulance on the 4th of July.  Plus now they want to pass an ordinance that would add 10% more to the bill.  There are various other charges we have not been able to compute.  The city wants all this money up front.  We have worked so hard for 45 years to have Sawdust Days remain a Free quality festival.  Have you enjoyed Sawdust Days?  We need to know if you will support us, can we continue?  After 45 years of volunteering time to keep this event going, we would be so grateful if the public comes forward to support our efforts.  Please don't let the minority win this battle.
