Rocky was taken to a vets by two youths with a broken leg, they made it very obvious that they had no money to fund any treatment not even pain relief. The pup was given a reference number and booked into the vets, with no owner, his future was very bleak.
Thankfully an Angel in the shape of Adele a Veterinary Nurse reached out to rescue. So with the help of 8 Below Husky Rescue, Murphy's Army and us at Greenacres we managed to get him to safety.
We had the records and Xrays from the original vet and he saw our vets today and they advised that the best way for him to keep his leg is to have a procedure to secure the fracture in place using external fixtures. So as I type Rocky is having this procedure done. The quote for his treatment is £1300 and we hope to raise this via this page.
