Save Redstone Arsenal Horses

As most folks know the Redstone Saddle Activity, located on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama were told on 27 April 2017 that they had three days to remove their belongings from barns and turn their horses out into the pasture for 24/7 grazing as the barns have been condemned.  Initially, horses were allowed to be in the pasture for 3 months (grazing) then they would have to be removed.  Anyone that owns a horse knows that finding a home for them is quite difficult and expensive, especially on such short notice.  Some folks were considering euthanasia because they did not have the money or time to properly find a home for their horses.  The 3 months has been extended to 6 months.  However, God was listening.  He sent Patrick Moore and Randy Hicks, owners of "Glory Meadows Horse Ranch” in Toney, Alabama.  They came to us and told us they have 44 acres, some fencing and a barn that needs finished, and another one to be built.  They heard of our horses needing a home and offered their place to us...if a couple of us run it.  Boarding price is very comparable to what we pay now at Redstone.  Well, we took their kind offer!  At this time there are 12 horses going from the Saddle Activity on Redstone to Glory Meadows.  Maybe more will come when construction is finished, but...in order to make this happen in the timeline that we have been given we need some help with funding and/or donations.  Any donation whether monetary or otherwise will be greatly appreciated!!  We also need personnel gates, pasture gates, concrete, lumber, nails, electrical supplies, lighting supplies, nails/connectors, gravel, metal roofing, water troughs, plumbing supplies, and large fans.  The dream having our horses together is slowly coming true!!
