Save Pandilea's Home on Wheels!!!

We are Pam, Andi and Kalea and living full time in a Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro Camper!

We broke down in southern Mexico and are in BIG TROUBLES!

In fact, our transmission died and we need to get it rebuilded!

This is not possible here in Mexico!

Costs to rebuild our transmission in the US (best and closest option) are several thousand USD, depending on what is damaged exactly!(See the summary with all the estimated costs below)

First step, we need to pull the transmission at a local repair shop here in Mexico!

After that, we need to cover all the expenses to organize the transport of the damaged transmission from Mexico to the US, and back!

As shipping and flying is not an option for several reasons, we have to rent a car and drive it all across Mexico to get the damaged transmission to the US!(4000km/2500miles, one way)

We get the transmission rebuilded in the US at a professional shop we trust!

We are driving the rebuilded transmission back in the rental car!(4000km/2500miles)

We install the transmission in southern Mexico at a local repair shop!

Summary of all the estimated costs:

- Transmission rebuild: +/- USD or CHF  3'000.-
- Rental Car/gas/toll: +/- USD or CHF 1500.-
- Local repair shop for all the work: +/- USD or CHF 500.-
- Towing: +/- USD or CHF 500.-

Of course we are trying to cover all the other expenses while stranded for weeks (Motel Rooms, Taxis, phone bills etc.), but we are not able to cover it all on our own, we simply can't do this without you!!!!!
