Save our Sacred Space

We need your help.  Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church has served the Mt. Vernon community since 1872.  This sacred space is not only an historical Baltimore landmark, but it has touched the lives of thousands of people.  I am reaching out to each of you to spread the word.  The sanctuary has come upon a tremendous hardship.... our sanctuary roof must undergo  major repair at a cost of $80,000.  This is crucial in order to keep this sacred space operating and serving the hundreds that come through its doors.  As soon f today our services must be moved into a fellowship hall.  The members continue to serve and spread God's word of love.  If YOU have ever been touched by this Church or another sacred space...I ask that you give what you are able.  Please spread the word to a friend or relative.  A full capital campaign will take place in the fall but the need is immediate.   God bless each of you for  gift to insure that Mt. Vernon Place UMC will continue to serve for the next 145 years.
