Save Our Leia

Donation protected
About a month ago our Leia started to refuse treats and then she started skipping meals. Shortly after she was having a hard time getting up after laying down. Her body seemed to be giving out on her.    We took her to the vet for a check up and had blood work done. He told us after looking at her blood work it was probably just a bug. We left with some antibiotics and hope that it would pass in a few days. Five days after the vet visit her condition was worse. We took her to her vet again. More test and Xrays and we found out her lung was filled with fluid.   We were told to prepare ourselves for the worst. The C word came up. At four years old? Cancer!? We were terrified.    After they drained all the fluid she seemed to get some relief. We came home and made her chicken and she ate her first meal in days! The not knowing was the worst though. The wait to get the results from the Vet was painful.     Two days after they drained the fluid we still had no answer and she started to get bad again. We had to take her back to get her lung drained again.    Two days after that we found out she didn't have cancer! The celebration was short lived though. We have to take her to a specialist to have a  sonogram and scans done. It's possibly lung lobe torsion. It is the obstruction of the blood vessels causes the lung lobe to engorge with blood, which results in necrosis and death of the affected lung tissue. This may lead to many complications, including coughing up blood, tachycardia, or shock.   Surgery is the best treatment for her. The scans and treatment are going to be expensive. We've already exhausted our savings to get the answers we have now. So we're asking for help.     Please help us save our girl
