Save childcare @ JHH-Stamford, Ct

Hi,  my name is Davette Stephens I am running this campaign because Just a Helping Hand LLC childcare center needs your help while the state of Connecticut works on its financial crisis. I want to be able to continue to help close the educational gap but with the closing and reduction of families able to apply and receive Care4Kids (state subsidy that assist working families pay for childcare) Enriched early childhood education should be given affordable to all and not undervalued.

The money raised from this GoFund Me will do several things for our community:

First, it will assist the working families in my program to remain at the center without having the uncertainty of figuring where their child will have to go so they can continue to work. Secondly, this will allow each teacher at the center to keep their employment because I would have to let teacher go if enrollment is reduced to families unable to pay. Lastly, it will allow me to continue to run a quality early childhood program and not have to close the doors after almost thirteen years of service to low/moderate income families.
