Savannah's College Fund
Donation protected
This GoFundMe Campaign is for a dear friend of mine Savannah Brown. A month before leaving for college Savannah's mother passed away after a long, hard fought battle with cancer, leaving her without parents or an income to support her as she takes the next step in her life. It is my goal to raise money for Savannah's college education. I have known Savannah since 1st grade and have grown up along side of her. In 2016 we graduated Harriton High School together, and now we attend Millersville University together. Savannah is a shining light in my life. She inspires me with her strength and compassion every single day and never fails to be one of the most selfless people that I know.
Here is a statement from Savannah:
"My name is Savannah Brown. I’m a freshman at Millersville University majoring in Biochemistry. During the summer I lost my mother to a prolonged illness. My mother’s battle with cancer affected my life both negatively and positively. Negatively for all the reasons a person would think—it destroyed me watching her become so ill and fight for such a long time. Yet, it also inspired me to study science and become an emergency trauma doctor. I grew to love the hospital, to appreciate all the intelligence, support, and helpfulness that every single doctor or nurse offered me with my education in medicine. I plan to continue to spread that feeling with new generations and other families."
