                     Mission Statement

A incomparable mortician with a compassion to comfort the grieving while honoring the dead. I have over 4 years experience in mortuary science with prep work being my specialty. I believe that a funeral service should be a celebration of one’s life and reflect how they chose to live.

My goal is to lower funeral home employee staffing cost, provide the funeral home, the deceased, and the families with quality service, and eliminate the ever-changing employee hiring process. In the constantly fluctuating funeral business, I provide affordable services and fulfill funeral service requirements with no long-term obligation. By providing my services, I save the families and the funeral home money, while insuring a proper funeral service for the deceased loved one.

A funeral service should celebrate the life of the deceased and be a tribute to their Dash in the middle.

Due to our constant changing economy, funeral homes have to over-price to cover overhead costs. At Mortician's Freelance I wish to alleviate some of those costs. The families and loved ones of the deceased should only have to pay for what they want and need. Freelancing makes it possible for my company to provide funeral service arrangements in the families home or place of their choosing.

I come from a difficult background,  i had no parents and was homeless from the age of 12 to 19. But none of those previous hardships prepared me for the loss of my only constant, my brother. He was murdered 5 days before my 19th birthday, and I remember the grief being so present, that life seemed to move in slow motion. That grief drove me to anger and eventually to motivation. I needed to help anyone else who might be going through something similar. I had a 8th grade education and a GED when i decided to step back into school. I entered into Carl Sandburg college mortuary science program when I was 30 years of age. I completed my program in 2 years, graduating with  honors and obtaining a degree in AAS Mortuary. I now have the ability and the determination to help anyone else dealing with the pain of loss.
