Sarver house fire-Old Progress School

On January 20, 2020, my Mother-in-law, Joyce Sarver, lost her home and everything inside.  She escaped with the clothes she had on and her wienie dog, Girlie.  Her grandson, his girlfriend and their dog were living with her at the time and lost all their possessions.  Joyce has dealt with hardship these last several years with the loss of her youngest son, then her husband, and recently her oldest son.  She had no insurance on the home due to a fixed income.  This was a historical home for our community as it was originally a school built in the 1920's.  She and her husband, Howard purchased the home in 1976 and remodeled the inside themselves, a project Howard took pride in.  My husband and his siblings grew up in this home, as did grandchildren and recently great-grandchildren.  Many memories in this home, and now one last memory of watching it collapse within 45 minutes.  We are truly blessed that everyone, including the pets, got out safe and thank everyone that has expressed sorrow at our loss.  

We are creating this fund to help with the costs of finding a new home, furnishings, clothing, food, and medications that Joyce needs daily.  Anything will be accepted and appreciated.
