Let's keep Sarah STRONG!

Sarah is one of our dearest friends. We have worked with her for several years and have seen the impact she has made on so many of her students’ lives. Everyone she works with admires her for her dedication and her uplifting spirit.  

Three months ago, Sarah was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Along with this alarming news, she found out that she will have to have a complete hysterectomy. Just recently the news took another turn for the worse when she found out that she will not be able to preserve any of her remaining eggs. In her words this was like a “knife going through my heart”.

She is currently going through her second round of chemotherapy and is looking chic in her wigs and caps.  She refuses to let the unbearable pain keep her from her school and her work. She continues to be an inspiration to others through her strength and positive outlook on this undesirable situation.

We want to raise money to help Sarah and her family pay for the costly medical bills and all the extraneous details that go along with this journey. Specifically the money will go toward the costs that insurance doesn’t cover, taking days off work, hospital parking, wigs, and other miscellaneous out of pocket costs.

We want to sincerely thank everyone for donating and helping support Sarah during this remarkable journey. We want to keep Sarah STRONG!!
