International Missions Trip 2014-Thailand
-Evangelism, leading worship services & outreach
-Offering child care, visiting orphanages & safe houses
-Visiting the hill tribes who have escaped persecution
-Preventative human traffiking ministry & raising awareness
-Sharing testimonies & the Word of God & love of Jesus with children & adults
-Assisting current missionaries and pastors as needed
-Photography/Videography to document the mission & organization

I am passionate about spreading God's Word to internationally, specifically underserved populations of the world and working to prevent human traffiking, so Thailand offers me the opportunity to combine both- by spreading hope, grace, and the forgiveness of Jesus. I will meet men & women of all ages and learn about their lives, so every day will be an opportunity for conversations and relationships to form. This will allow me to show them how beautiful they are and a new way to live, by being a light in the darkness. I am open to whatever roles I can serve, and I plan to use my photography experience to document the mission for the group, to capture the beauty of the Thai people and to raise awareness.

Oh! Plus, my sister (who lives in Hawai'i and attends Inspire Church) will also be apart of the team.  What a great reunion! The mission trip will take place late summer 2014.

"Behind Thailand's beautiful beaches, the Thai people's ever-smiling faces, and the lush tropical jungles lies a terrible secret: modern day slavery. With a predominantly Buddhist culture, Thailand struggles with the concept of hope for the future. They have never heard of grace. They have never felt forgiveness. Buddhism teaches the Thai people that their futures are predetermined by karma. The hopelessness of the people left behind is unimaginable to much of the Western world. Faced with inconceivable poverty, the desperate people of Thailand turn to the only resource they believe they have left: their bodies. As the Thai economy strengthens and the natural beauty draws visitors, tourism of a different sort also flourishes. Human trafficking and sexual tourism continue to grow. Traffickers ensnare hopeless women into prostitution. Impoverished parents see their young daughters as commodities, selling them into slavery for food money. The women and children of Thailand need your help. When you join us in Thailand, you can bring love and hope for the future to women trapped in prostitution. Share a promise of forgiveness that they have never imagined.

You will meet real Thai women and learn about their lives. You will learn about love in a way you've never imagined before. Show these precious women the freedom and grace they can feel through a relationship with Jesus while also helping them escape from a life of physical bondage and abuse. Human trafficking is one of the largest modern day justice issues in the world. The women of Thailand need you to show them light in their darkest time."                               (info from

Did you know that Thailand means "land of the free"? Our team wants to show the beautiful people of Thailand that they really can be set free with love, grace and forgiveness. The trip is nearing and I am still accepting your generous donations to help make it happen - just a $5 donation can buy a lot of supplies (friendship bracelets, prayer beads & fun mini polaroids!) that we are going to need during our time at an orphanage. And for some interesting Thailand facts that we probably did not know, check out

AHHHH it's almost time and all of the support and kind words are just assurance that this leap of faith is exactly where I need to be. I still have funds to raise to cover all the costs, but I have no doubt it will happen :) If you would like to donate, visit my fundraising site or you can message me for info on how to donate directly. xoxo
