Friends, family, and brothers and sisters in Christ,
As most of you have already heard, my sister Sarah Ye Eun Kim got hit by a car on Saturday, February 9th. She was rushed to the hospital and we found out that she sustained many injuries. The past week has been the hardest time for our family as we've had to hear from doctors of her near full brain dead state.
She took her first test this morning (2/15/19) to see if she is brain dead and the result came back that she was.
The second test which is done 6 hours later, determined the first diagnosis was correct.
Given the news from the doctors, we have decided to donate her organs, and so because of this, she will remain on the ventilator for the next 24-48 hours as they find matches for her organs.
We have reached the stage in this process, of preparing for my sister, Sarah Ye Eun Kim's funeral.
We are currently raising funds to cover as much of the funeral expenses as possible.
Of course, your thoughts and prayers are enough but if you are able to help financially, it would greatly help us during this incredibly trying time for our family.
At the end of the day, we believe the Lord will provide whatever it is that we need and we are content no matter what happens.
