Please help send our high school varsity hockey team to the International Silverstick Tournament in Canada! Our team has the honor of representing Northern California and all of the western states in Sarnia, Ontario on January 11-15th, 2018, and we would greatly appreciate any amount of help you can give.
Our Varsity team’s home ice is in Santa Rosa, California. Snoopy’s Home Ice rink was built by Charles Schulz, and is visited by people from all over the world. In October of 2017, our rink was threatened by the devastating wildfires that raged through Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. Many of our players were displaced for two weeks during this terrible event, and some even lost their homes entirely. But thankfully the fires were finally stopped just two blocks from our rink. Even though our players missed quite a bit of playing time because of it, they were able to power through a highly competitive Regional qualifier tournament in San Jose, CA and earn a spot in the final competition against other qualifiers from throughout the US and Canada.
This invitation to play in Ontario is a unique and amazing opportunity. The Tournament of Champions will give our varsity team the experience of playing against teams from all over North America, and will be something they remember forever.

Contributions to our team are tax deductible as SRJHC is a non profit 501c3 organization. We will use funds to help pay for expenses during our trip and also for reimbursements once we have receipts.
