Esmeralda, Ruby, & Cristal are three local girls who are near and dear to our hearts (they are apart of our very own Vineyard Manager's group)! This year, they are raising pigs for the Santa Margarita 4-H at the California Mid-State Fair.
Ancient Peaks is passionate about giving back to the community, and being apart of the agriculture industry, it is important to us to inspire the youth to fall in love with agriculture. We want to help foster the values that drives 4-H- hard work, dedication, and learn by doing. And these girls have done just that!
We are reaching out to you, because Esmeralda, Ruby, & Cristal have worked so hard to reach their goals and proudly represent Santa Margarita. However, there's a chance that a few of the pigs won't make weight- so they will be ineligible to sell at the fair and all their costs will be lost.
We are rallying the community together to provide an alternative outcome for these girls and all their efforts. However much we raise will be donated to their project, whether they sell or not.
