Sandbox Theatre 2.0 !!!!

The Westchester Sandbox Theatre - for eight years, we have been a proud member of this tremendous community. We have seen our little one-room playhouse grow exponentially in ways even we had never imagined. The number of children and teenagers who have stepped through our doors and onto our stage is astounding. We are proud to be a part of school districts all over the county, bringing our special blend of entertainment and education to students of all ages. We work tirelessly to find ways to improve - in recent years, we have taken on many improvement projects from a newly digitized sound board to state of the art moving lights and everything in between. And now, we stand on the precipice of our greatest accomplishment to date. We are purchasing the building that houses the Sandbox. In doing so, we have encountered many obstacles we did not count on when we began. The building has a long history of neglect that we have vowed to fix and make right. But in addition to fixing wrongs of the past, we are also embarking on improving the future. We have wonderful plans that we know will only make what we do better and will continue to excite and encourage all the young people who have made the Sandbox their favorite playground. And for the first time in our history, we are reaching out to the community for help. We have elected to begin this fundraising campaign to help us usher in the future of the Sandbox, which we hope will include every one of you. We are grateful to you for all the support you have shown us over the years, and we now humbly ask you to think of us this Thanksgiving season. No amount is too small.
