San Marcos Apartment Fire

As many of you may know, there was a massive apartment complex fire in San Marcos, Tx at Iconic Village Apartments in the early morning around 5am. Around 200 students and residence are currently displaced.
When leaving my apartment today (directly across the street from the fire) I ran into my buddy Zach Ballinger. He and his girlfriend are 2 of those 200. Zach lived in building 5 and his girlfriend lived in building 3, both of which were completely destroyed by the fire. Thankfully they are alive and safe but walked out with nothing but the clothes on their back.
Zach and I graduated high school together and he has been nothing but kind to me throughout the years despite distance and time. I know many people need help right now but if I can help at all at this moment, I’m hoping this is the least I can do for them.
I’d like to add that neither one of them know I’m doing this and it wasn’t asked. They’re just great people that need help and I think this world needs a little more kindness right now. If you can do anything to help or donate (monetary or clothing) wether it be to Zach and girlfriend or just donating items to the activity center in San Marcos, (this is where they are sheltering those without places to stay), please do. We love our small town and community and are absolutely devastated this happened.
