McGonigle Family Warrior Fund

On December 22, 2016 our oldest son Sam McGonigle was diagnosed with Stage 3A Hodgkins Lymphoma. There is a 97% cure rate for this type of cancer and we are filled with great hope that Sam, in true "Sam Style", will take this thing head on and beat it. Sam is scheduled for more tests and will begin chemotherapy this week. He has a journey ahead that we wished was different, but our family motto is Joshua 1:9, God's got this! Many of you know that our faith in the Lord is strong. This is just another test for our God to show how big he really is. We are still recovering financially from trials with Ted's health and my back injury a few years ago. We went through bankruptcy and a short sale finally selling our house after four long years. We are settled in Havertown and Cardinal John Foley School, two incredible communities that have already reached out in ways we couldn't have imagined, rides, kid care, Christmas shopping, food and most of all love. With Sam's treatment Rachel will only be able to work very part time and we need both incomes to survive. We will also be incurrring many costs not covered by insurance in the coming months. Humbly, we are asking for help. If you are unable to give financially, we need prayer warriors more than anything, so we would ask you to pray fervently. We are covered by the King of the world and he provides for all our needs. Sometimes that provision comes by humbly asking for help.
