Hello,
My name is Sam Kaimenyi, I am now 22 years old. Born and raised by a single mom, I have three sisters and one step brother. Being brought up by our mom has been not easy. We struggled so much. I've gone hungry, barefoot to school, and at some points even been hosted by neighbours when our dad came home drunk after being chased away from home. In highschool I lived in rented rooms where i used to pay 3$ per month and walked more than 6 kilometers to school so that I could learn and get to my dreams. Luckily enough I managed to pass with good grades and got an admission to one of the top business universities here in Kenya to study for a bachelor's degree in commerce. My ultimate goal is to become a financial analyst after school. Unfortunately I now am struggling financially with school expenses like rent and educational fees. Hence why am calling upon friends and well wisher's to chip in to help.. A share, a donation or anything else brings me closer to my dream. Thank you for your time. - Sam
Hi, My name is Sola Osinubi and I have set up this go fund me for my friend Sam. I met Sam in August during a service trip in Kenya. Sam is so kind and eager to learn all while being able to have a good laugh. We are all so fortunate that here, in the United States, our education is a right guaranteed to us. This is not the case for the rest of the world. The US dollar is also very powerful in Kenya with an exchange rate of almost 1 US Dollar to 98 Kenyan shillings. So today I am asking that no matter how small the donation, you donate in the hope of pursuing education, something we all have a right to. The 1000 would cover all of his expenses for 3 semesters (1 year) of college.
Thank you, Sola Osinubi
