BIOGRAPHY

Born on Fort Benning Army Base in Columbus, Georgia, Samantha has been part of a military family from the very beginning.  Her father's military career is what gave her the opportunity to live in countries all over the world, such as Spain and Japan.  Thanks to her parents, Samantha is a world-traveler who believes that her experiences with different cultures has given her the gift to adapt easily and, more importantly, appreciate and respect people of all backgrounds.

Samantha was a Senior at Moanalua High School when she was crowned Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2013.  During her reign, she made several guest appearances and spoke at military community events, hosted a local cable show dedicated to helping the youth of Hawaii, and volunteered with The American Red Cross, The Hawaiian Humane Society, and countless other local charities. Somewhere between graduating high school and placing in the Top 15 at the national Miss Teen USA pageant, Samantha found the time to kickstart a modeling career.

After working as a successful model in Hawaii, Samantha moved to Los Angeles to expand her career in the entertainment industry. As the reigning Miss Beverly Hills, Samantha strives to incorporate her message of inclusivity and togetherness in all aspects of her life:

Personal
During this past year, Samantha has written a half-hour comedy pilot that centers on a diverse group of personalities who navigate a wacky work environment while handling even wackier customers. Throughout the script, these employees comically fight to overcome their differences and work together to achieve common goals. Ultimately, they form a bond of family that transcends anything that could possibly divide them. Her goal is to see her script through production and distribution so that her message of inclusivity reaches the broadest possible audience.

Professional
This past February, Samantha was promoted from Office Administrator to Events Coordinator at John Rosenfeld Studios. She accepted the position under the condition that she would be allowed to make changes to the company’s biggest annual event: The JRS Short Film Festival. After working tirelessly for nine months, collaborating with those around her, and working closely with studio founder: John Rosenfeld, Samantha successfully produced the company’s most diverse and inclusive Film Festival to date. Over 300 people attended the October 14th Event and all left feeling inspired, represented, and most importantly, included.

Philanthropy
Samantha is an active member of the community and advocates for inclusivity and togetherness. In 2017, she began volunteering with nonprofits Big Sunday, an organization that “connects people through helping,” and ResisterhoodLA, “The buffet of volunteering.” She recently joined the ResisterhoodLA Board of Directors as a 2019 Volunteer Coordinator.
