Sam's Lyme Disease Treatment

To our Family and Friends,
As you know, Sam has suffered from what was ultimately diagnosed as Lyme Disease with multiple co infections. She as been in treatment for the last several years, and in October of 2017 we found Dr. Cameron, who has been treating her. After multiple changes and combinations of drugs that didn't work, the Doctor felt it was medically necessary to start IV antibiotics. At first, the health insurance was covering the IV infusion along with a nurse once a week to change dressings, and it wasn't an issue. Sam is now starting responding to the treatment and the insurance is now refusing to pay any further. The doctor did a Peer to Peer with an insurance company doctor and that doctor denied coverage. The cost of the IV meds, supplies, 2 trips a month to NY, and the nurse once a week, is going to cost about $3,000 a month. I need to raise this money while I fight the insurance company so her IV infusions don't lapse. I plan on fighting the insurance and going to whatever lengths I have to for them to continue to pay. I'm just not sure since it is LYME Disease they will approve it no matter what I do! I need to have money to pay by Tuesday for at least half of the doses we need which will be 15 days. We are not sure how long treatment will be or need to continue, so whatever we can raise will help and at the end if there is any extra will be donated to Lyme disease research.
The original 3100 we raised I was able to stretch until now. But we need at least 2 more months of money to cover what is owed now. If you can help it would be so appreciated and even just sharing for her!
