Sam Trimboli Recovery Fund

On Monday, November 11, 2019, Sam Trimboli was involved in an accident while surfing with friends at Salmon Creek Beach on the Sonoma Coast. The tip of the surfboard smashed into his face during a fall, knocking him out and caused a concussion. The board broke his nose and sinus bones into more than five pieces, inflicting several lacerations. Luckily, friends were close by. They were able to get him safely to shore and to the hospital where he underwent reconstructive surgery.
An avid surfer and rock climber, Sam works as a musician who sings and plays bass with blue grass and folk bands "One Grass Two Grass" and "Solstrom." He tours extensively for his work. Due to the nature of his injuries he will be out of commission for several months as he recuperates.
Sam has been a major asset to our community as a local artist. He has given us opportunities to dance together, has established new climbing routes, and always keeps things fun out in the waves. His infectious smile and stoke for life is contagious and has inspired many.
These accidents can happen to any of us and now it’s our turn to give back and help him out during this challenging time. Your contributions are deeply appreciated.
