Sam Karallus Medical Bills

In May of 2014, Sam Karallus joined the Marion County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy. Since then, he has become great friends with many throughout the department. In the Fall of 2016, he married his sweetheart Elyse. Those who know Sam know that he is good, loving and kind-hearted person. Sam is also the type person that would help you whenever you need without thinking twice.

Last Sunday, April 2nd, Sam was hospitalized for unknown reasons. Since being hospitalized, Sam has undergone many tests to find out what was wrong with him, and during that time he slipped into a coma. Tests have revealed that he has bacterial meningitis, and pneumonia. At this time Sam's body is not feeling pain though his brain shows otherwise. Sam has opened his eyes a few times in the last few days but doesn't seem to be focusing on anything. As of April 8th, 2017, Sam has not gotten worse, but hasn't gotten better. 

We have created this GoFundMe account to help with the monthly incoming bills. Elyse is by his side night and day, and is not able to work. With the unknown number of days that Sam will be staying in hospital and the unknown length of recovery, Elyse has no idea when she will return to work. One thing we know for sure, is the monthly bills will still keep coming.
