Sam Gardner's Education Fund

Sam is the only son of Keith and Alison Gardner. Keith was born and raised in Pointe au Baril and in the spring of this year was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed within a three week period. Over the years Keith donated innumerable hours of volunteer work for the community in a selfless fashion. Some of which included The Pointe au Baril Lions Club, Winter Whirl, PABERT, Lobsterfest, and worked on his own to keep the Children’s Christmas party going with great success even when it seemed it wasn’t going to happen. Young Sam has been left suddenly without a father and has many hurdles to overcome. With the help of Greg Andrews and Muriel McKee we have set up this Go Fund Me account to raise money for Sam’s college education. We are asking residents, islanders and friends to donate whatever you can to this worthy cause.
