As the ashes settle and the air clears the reality of what has been lost in the fire and what it’s going to take to feel safe and move forward is beginning to sink in. I spent 48 harrowing hours making sure all horses, dogs, and people survived, during this time my barn burned down and I lost everything. (Link to our Woolsey Fire escape story)
While I’m trying to rebuild and help others do the same, I still have the continued care of my two lesson horses Saki and Sundance to support at a time when they are not able to be working to even cover their own costs. These two horses have worked hard and been loved by lots of people over the many years they have been with me. For those of you who have been reaching out and asking how to help, thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Any contribution towards the immediate and ongoing care of Saki & Sundance is so helpful and greatly appreciated.
