For over 10 years, the Annual Kite Festival at Sailwinds Park next to the Visitor's Center on the banks of the Choptank River has been a wonderful event that is fun for all ages, with some of the world's largest kites, stunt kite competitions, vendors, great food, and contests for the kids!
Every year, Sailwinds Park, Inc. has put on this free festival and without any budget whatsoever it has brought hundreds and hundreds of families and visitors to the shores of the Choptank; to enjoy an amazing free festival, full of beautiful kites and laughing kids.
We want to take the festival to the next level while still keeping it free. Your small donation will help us secure more entertainment for the children; bouncy houses for toddlers, extreme events for older kids, and it will truly help us maintain the overall quality of this incredible event.
