Janet Collins, Carmen de Levallade & Raven Wilkinson opened the door & Misty Copeland raised the standard. Now’s the time! This is my daughter Sage! A 10 year old aspiring ballerina. She loves to dance and wants to train to be a professional ballerina! This year she auditioned for Dance Theater of Harlem’s Summer Intensive Program and got in!!!!
DTH offers a three week dance program at its historic dance studios in Harlem, New York City. This program will extend her knowledge of the classical ballet technique. DTH School is home to her dream company, Dance Theater of Harlem, which is the oldest African American (multiethnic) ballet company in the nation.
The most exciting part, Thanks to Arthur Mitchell, DTH school will allow her the opportunity to learn from and with other students who look like her.
This beautiful and demanding art form is time sensitive and the opportunities for great classical training are still rare. Please help me, help my daughter to take full advantage of this opportunity*! Thank you so much for your support!!!
