"THE AMERICAN DREAM is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society where upward mobility is possible for everyone. THE AMERICAN DREAM is achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work, rather than by chance."
Saeed Saleh came to the United States three years ago, from Eritrea, to fulfill the American Dream for himself and for his family. Tragically, Saeed's dreams for a better life were taken from him during the heinous Dayton, OH shooting massacre on August 4th. Saleh came here in search of a better life for his wife Zaid, 5yr old daughter Randa and his two children back in Eritrea, who he was working so tirelessly to bring to America. Saeed was described as a kindhearted, quiet, family man who often worked 7 days a week, 12 to 16 hours at a time to provide for his family.
As the sole provider for his family, the Saleh Family is now without the stability and support they once had. It is in these times of loss and sadness that we rely on the kindness of human beings coming together to help one another. If you are able to help financially, we are asking for immediate donations that will go directly to the Saleh family and aid in the funeral & medical bills, as well as provide support for his wife, Zaid and three children.
We are thankful for your support and we encourage you to keep the Saleh family and all the victims of the Dayton mass shooting in your thoughts and prayers.
