Sadie's MRI & Surgery

Hello everyone! For those who don't know me, my name is  Shannon Revelant and I am an animal lover to the absolute core. My pets are my everything, and although I typically don't ask for favors, I am asking for one now to help cure one of my precious pups. 

Sadie is a miniature pinscher who I've had for quite a few years. She is lively, sweet, and extremely cuddly. Usually one to be running around the yard and rolling around in the grass, Sadie hasn't been able to do very much lately. Seemingly overnight a few weeks ago, Sadie woke up rather lethargic and unable to use her hind legs. Assuming the worst, we took her to the vet and they ran a series of tests. They said Sadie needs an MRI and that it would cost us around $1,800 to do it. This was not in my family's cost range, but of course we wanted to help. We asked our vet if there was anything else we could do, but she said without the MRI they couldn't be sure of the exact problem. We were told to try a series of medicines that would be prescribed and lowered in dose as the weeks went on.

Currently, Sadie has been on these medications for a few weeks, and the fact that she has been able to stand on her own and go to the bathroom outside means that it is not paralysis; however, our vet has informed us that even though that's not the case, there is still a problem yet to be solved.  With the medications, Sadie still can't do very much, and without the medications, Sadie can do virtually nothing but watch as our other pets run around the house and play. The odds are likely (according to the vet) that Sadie has one or multiple herniated discs that need to be treated through the use of an MRI and surgery. 

As previously mentioned, my family is not currently in a secure financial spot to pay for all of this on our own. Due to an influx of bills and the fact that one of our other dogs was recently diagnosed with diabetes (more vet bills/visits, insulin, and syringes), I'm asking for help to get Sadie back to the energetic, care-free dog that she once was.

The money will help go towards the MRI, the surgery, the medications post-surgery, and any vet visits during her recovery period. The sooner we raise the money, the sooner we can get Sadie the MRI, and anything you donate will be sincerely appreciated by both myself and my family.
