Sadie Bermea's Hope for a Cure fund

On behalf of Sadie Bermea, whose passion for hospitality and self-less generosity has blessed and touched the lives of so many over the years, are these words now being shared.
Without warning, and to the sudden shock of all, did Sadie and her family face horrifying and unexpected news. What was suspected to be symptoms of flu which Sadie sought treatment for near the end of December 2016 in just a few short days was revealed to be a completely unanticipated diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). And on the same day this diagnosis was revealed to Sadie did her physician urge her to seek emergency treatment in a bone marrow cancer center in Indianapolis.
Due to this diagnosis and the severity of this disease, and the medical demand of the treatment involved, Sadie and her husband Steve are unable to work. The treatment is long and arduous, and very aggressive (unpleaseant), and is expected to last for at least 1 year.
Any and all funds needed are ONLY to maintain household finances. This is not discretionary money. Sadie and her family will sacrifice many things, including Sadie and Steve's weekly incomes, as the war for Sadie's life is fought over the next year. While the goal in mind for this fundraiser does NOT meet every expense that this family will encounter. If reached, it will provide a great relief for Sadie and her family, and can cover some of the most basic monthly bills and expenses, so that Sadie can have a home to come back to after this fight.
