Sabria's College Tuition
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Sabria and I'm a senior at Sci High. I've been accepted into my dream school, Loyola University and I need help raising money for tuition.
I want to be a Public Defender so that I can to reform the prison system and make a change in my community. Loyola has one of the best law programs in my state, and learning from the professors as an undergraduate will help me reach my goals.
When I was looking at colleges with good pre-law programs I was drawn to Loyola because everyone I talked to had one underlying message: Loyola makes great lawyers. Loyola lawyers are not only well equipped for the court room, but also passionate about community outreach. Loyola teaches law students to see their clients as people and not numbers. I believe that's because of the values Loyola has instilled into them.
I was extremely happy to get into Loyola and blessed that my scholarships and grants would cover most of my tuition. I've taken out the maximum federal student loans, and committed to doing work study. Unfortunately I still owe $5,055 per year in tuition. I won't be receiving any financial assistance from my family, and cannot afford this remaining tuition. I will be working every summer, but cannot take a job on top of school and my 20-hours a week work study job. $13,000 will cover my first two years of tuition and help me afford living expenses such as books, a computer, and daily needs.
I am extremely appreciative for the help and thank you to anyone who donates or shares.
