Natalie Surpris Lives On

Donation protected
On March 11, 2015, at the age of 37, Natalie was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. She was ripped to pieces the day she found out. Cancer had been something she was very aware of and she was an advocate for the fight to cure cancer through her organization, We Stand Together, Inc. Natalie never imagined she would hear the words, "you have cancer". She was faced to make a tough decision to leave Atlanta, Georgia to get treatment at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida, leaving behind her job, her husband and her son.

Natalie fought colon cancer for four long years. Meanwhile, she continued to advocate and spread awareness for this horrific disease with the organization, We Stand Together, Inc., in which she co- founded. Not only did she speak about cancer but she always spoke about the faith she had in Christ Jesus. Natalie touched the lives of many people in her community here in Florida and in Atlanta as well as all over the world through social media. One thing she would always say is that she had a story to tell the world!!

Natalie Surpris was a phenomenal woman, a great wife, and an even greater mother. She was a daughter, a sister,  a niece, and a cousin that remained a glue in our family; keeping us and holding us all together.  She was everyones older sister. She was the epitome of celebration. Every time we all got together she became the life of the party. She poured all of her love and spirit in to all of us, and we are forever blessed and grateful to be loved by Natalie.

On February 12th, 2019 at 3:24 PM God called Natalie home. She transitioned surrounded by love and her closest family and friends suddenly and unexpectedly. We are now making arrangements for her Home Going Celebration. As mentioned above Natalie was unable to work for the four years while she battled cancer. The donations received will go towards her medical and funeral expenses. In addition, as her son just started his freshman year of college the donations will also assist in his educational career, as he was her only son, and her greatest gift. She consistently made sure that he was always taken care of, and this would continue the work she carried out through her life.

On behalf of her whole family, we thank you so much in advance. Our hearts our full of gratitude and appreciation for all the efforts of everyone involved and for those who contribute. Service announcements will also be published as soon as the arrangements are complete.
