Nikki Needs Gastric Sleeve Surgery

Hi there,
My name is Nicoletta Kazas, 31 years of age, living in Melbourne since I was 2 years old. I weigh an enormous 195kgs, am 180 centimetres tall, have type 2 diabetes, sleep apnoea, high cholesterol, arthritis in my knees, back, hips and ankle.
However, sadly, that's just the physical part! I also suffer from mental illness; schizoaffective disorder, major depressive illness, anxiety (including social anxiety), panic disorder and I still occassionally battle with agoraphobia.
At one low point, I was house-bound for 2 and a half years, too afraid to leave even to go check the mail! I have been suicidal many times, though, I have never really attempted to purposely end my life. My only real addiction being food.
I believe, with the chance to proceed with gastric sleeve surgery, (needing about $8000 for a private surgeon to operate in a public hospital), plus extras, I can at least overcome my physical battle. I am thankful to have a supportive professional team to help with my ongoing mental battle.
It is difficult to pay for my every day medications, forms of transport (I don't have a driver's license), let alone any major medical procedures, as I merely live off a disability pension. (I qualify to receive this support due to my mental illnesses).
I take medications every day for all my ailments, and I hope in due time, I can remove most of this daily hassle. Sadly, at this moment, this is my daily routine, though I do enjoy a coffee at the local cafe with mum :)
I also enjoy spending time with my pet cat, Effie, and friends.I enjoy reading, star and moon gazing, the beach cafes, and cooking occassionally.
My future dreams are to study nutritional medicine at the local Natural Health School, and get qualified as a health coach. I would like to own my very own health retreat in Victoria, and influence others to take control of their own health. Afterall, it is our own responsibility to ensure we can be the very best version of ourselves, in all aspects of life.
Without your help of donations, it will take a very long time for me to reach my future goals. I cannot walk around for long periods of time, and the time I can walk, I am in pain. Schooling involves socialising with others, and my anxiety holds me back. As does my weight. (Carrying nearly 200kgs is not easy, let me tell you!). The doctor says that most of my issues can be reversed, or in the least bit managed well, with weight loss, as they believe the main reason I am mentally ill, is due to my morbid obesity. My goal weight is between 65-75kgs. With your support, I hope to get there.
