Newlyweds Pass From Car Crash

February 14, 2016, Valentines Day, unexpectedly turned into a tragic day for the Cosner and Amos families when the young newlywed couple, Kayla Amos (20) and Daniel Amos (21) both were severely injured and called home to the Lord after a fatal car crash.
Sunday evening the young married couple was traveling through Edgewater, MD when a car coming the opposite direction hit them head on, followed by the car behind hitting them as well. Kayla and Dan Amos were on their way to dinner to celebrate not only their love on Valentines Day, but their 6 month wedding anniversary when the terrifying accident happened taking both of their lives.
Kayla and Dan, Dan and Kayla, you could never find one without the other. The married couple met in highschool, fell in love, and got married in such a short time but no matter who tried to stop them, their love for each other was too strong to be held back. Both were the most caring and selfless people who would give the shirt off their back for anyone if needed. Kayla and Dan were very active at Chesapeake Church in Huntingtown, MD; Dan playing guitar in the Worship Team and Kayla being a rising leader for the Hospitality Team.
The heartache felt by both families can not be described in words, but having Kayla and Dan looking over everyone and thinking back on all the great memories is what helps make the families strong. Along with the great remembrance of the two, all the support from family and friends helps more and more every day, which is the reason this page is being made. There are many financial obstacles that have been left behind for both families and any amount would help. There are car payments, rent, phone bills, insurance, wedding bills, college bills and more still weighing on both families. Along with those there are costs from the time Kayla spent in the hospital and funeral costs for both Kayla and Dan after the tragic accident so any amount donated would help both families.
