Betsy Soto

On Saturday, July 14, our beloved Betsy Soto, was a victim of a horrific accident in which an intoxicated driver backed into the picnic tables in which she and several others were eating. Shortly after she was rushed to NCH, where they had her transported by a helicopter to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. Since Saturday night, Betsy has remained in the ICU and has undergone several surgeries. Her injuries include a broken right femur, injury to her ribs, liver, and kidneys, as well as having her pancreas split open. It is currently unknown when Betsy will be home or when she will be able to receive visitors, due to her condition. Yet, we remain very hopeful for a speedy and full recovery. We are also immensely grateful for everyone who has reached out to us and who has offered their help. As her family, we have not left her bedside and because of this, have missed several days of work. As mentioned before, we do not know when we will be back home with Betsy, therefore, we are asking for help and support. We understand that not everyone is financially available, but anything and everything is greatly appreciated. Betsy is a strong and beautiful woman who will soon be able to thank you, herself.
