Family needs help get through a Difficult Time
Some of you may know the Billing Family, they have seen their fair share of misfortune. Recently, Connie Billings was diagnosed with cancer, he is currently undergoing Chemo therapy and radiation treatments. Connie is a single Dad, due to the loss of his wife Debra Billings over 17 years who tragically passed during child birth of twins who are now juniors in high school. Connie has five children from the ages of 25 to the 17 year old twins, he has two older children from his 1st marriage. Connie is 72, self-employed logger that has work hard he whole life to provide and support his family. During this difficult time he is having a hard time making ends meet.
The town of Center Ossipeee NH, as well as people outside of the town helped this family during a hard time in the past and again now with emotional support, finances, and prayer. It wasn’t long after the loss of his wife Debra that the family was struck by another tragedy, they lost their home to a house fire. After that the family lived in a older trailer home, while Connie, with the help of friends and family to slowly build a new home for his family, only to lose it shortly after moving them in and getting settled. Fortunately, due to the help of a generous family (one of Connie's daughters worked for) they bought the property they are able to stay in the house on a rent basis.
Connie is a single dad that is dedicated to his children, and creating a good life for them. One of his daughter’s Kathlynn plans to get married next Sept. Another daughter Clarissa is in her third year of college for a degree in nursing, she has made the Dean list every semester he is a very proud father. The twins are in their Junior year of high school, they are in all honors classes with great grades, they also are involved with school activities and sports.
Connie has given back to the community as much as he can, by doing good things for others in need. Working with the town as the trustee of cemeteries. He ran for seat on the planning board, as he knows how much the town has helped him this is his way to give back to his community.
Go Fund me seems like a great way to get to lots of people, quickly. The donations will be used to help this family with everyday life costs. Helping to pay rent, electric, propane, other household expenses, clothes, and food for his children. We need to get donations flowing asap as the bills are piling up. Connie is not able to work as he is a self-employed logger it is unsafe, and to much for his body to handle.
As a close friend of the family, I love them dearly and am asking for your help and prayers. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. This family has seen many hard times and is very thankful to everyone that has helped throughout these times.
